Our Story
Middlesex Marble was founded by Ernie Fahey in 1983, father of our current MD Ben. From the day we started, our business has always been a family one.
Ben has an unrivalled experience in natural stone and a meticulous attention to detail in every aspect of the business. The design and sourcing department are always on hand to help our clients with material selection, having worked on hundreds of commercial projects.
Our Stonemasons
The other half of our team is our amazing stonemasons, some of whom have been working with stone for over 30 years. Did you know it takes three years to complete a modern apprenticeship as a stonemason, but many more to understand the intricacies of working with delicate and valuable natural stone?
Their attention to detail and fine hand-eye coordination ensures that they create the most incredibly beautiful pieces of stone for our clients. All of this means you’re in safe hands, no matter how complex your project!
The Workshop
We are based near Heathrow Airport and are always happy to welcome customers if you make an appointment.
We use state of the art equipment and operate a “wet cut” system which means we recycle water which is then circulated throughout the workshop at all times. Not only does it cool the blades on the machines, it protects the integrity of the valuable stone we work with and dramatically reduces the dust in the air which is absolutely vital for the health and safety of our team.
